AlcoLog - an application that allows you to calculate Blood Alcohol Content (BAC), intoxication and general condition of the body on the basis of information related to consumed beverages. The calculations also take into account the time of consuming, the amount of alcohol consumed, the type of beverage and many other parameters. Calculation results are displayed in graphs on the timeline. The graphs clearly show the previous states of the organism and a forecast for the future state.
Key features of AlcoLog:
- BAC calculation is based on the Widmark formula which is often used by professional medical experts to determine the amount of consumed alcohol or the level of alcohol in the blood;
- Estimated BAC value depends on the amount of alcohol consumed, intervals between drinks, and the bodys ability for absorption / elimination of alcohol per unit of time;
- In addition to the basic parameters (your weight and gender) there are several parameters also taken into account, such as individual tolerance to alcohol and the level of toxicity of alcoholic beverages (e.g., darker beverages have more harmful effects on the body than the lighter ones);
- Calculation of the intoxication level and overall health (the calculation takes into account the impact of withdrawal symptoms on overall health);
- Graphical representation of data with the ability to scroll and zoom;
- Possibility to correct beverage parameters and to take into account previously consumed drinks (up to one hour back). Cancellation of erroneous input data;
- Displaying alerts (and notifications) about the current state of the body: car driving prohibition (in accordance with the laws of your country), prohibition of telephone calls, etc.;
- The calculation of the estimated duration of your active alerts;
- Visual displaying of the health status on the calendar;
- Ability to create new drinks;
- Displaying statistics on consumed beverages for any period of time;
- Intuitive interface;
- Efficient algorithms for calculations and graphics, which minimise the CPU load;
- Proprietary database containing all calculations and information about consumed beverages;
- Ability to clear the database.
Attention! The calculated data can only serve as an estimate of BAC and general condition of the body and never should be used to determine if you are able to drive, cannot be used as evidence in court and should not be interpreted as a medical fact.
